List101 | Statue of Popularity
Promoting a new social media these days is quite challenging. So we had to come up with an alternative way of getting peoples attention.
List 101 is a new social media where the users are ranked by their number of likes and followers.
As a part of the campaign, we built a giant statue (3.5 meters) to celebrate the most liked person on List101.
The statue was presented as the first price in a huge competition held at the popular Copenhagen nightclub Chateau Motel. The person with the most popular post on List101 after the first week, would get their head 3D scanned, printed, and placed on the top of the statue. Finally, the famous artist Christian Von Hornsleth turned the statue into a piece of art.
As expected, the winner was a popular influencer. In fact, it was Sarah Louise Christiansen from the danish reality show “Forsidefruer”, which is aired on national television. This led to the new social media being featured in the program during prime time.
